Face yourself

The question is why. Why can't people accept who they really are? Why is it so necessary to make another you in an alternate universe. Is it because you're ashamed of who you really are? In reality, nobody gives a damn who you are then. Rather, what matters is how you are as a person now. The concept of impressing others is the same as lying to yourself. The thing that humors me the most is the fact that the truth has a way of showing its ugly head. It's just all a nack.

If life has presented you with a hook which leads you to a better path. Then, your past actually is quite important. It's needed to ground you and not to be given an extreme makeover. The paint fades and the ugly structure becomes visible.

That is why the truth is so hard to handle. Probably, not by the people around you who are oblivious to the naked truth. But to those who want to present themselves as diamonds but in reality their just glass.
